Twenty four hours after the official flag-off of the Kogi APC campaign, Engr. Abdulrazaq Aminu (Okakanda), a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State and Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi State on Domestic Affairs, has embarked on grassroots tour in Kogi Central.
According to Okakanda, Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman has what it takes to win the November 11 Kogi gubernatorial election, stressing that his victory at the polls will consequently usher in more development and reinvigorate governance in Kogi State.
Okakanda stated this during his campaign tour to some council chiefs, and some critical stakeholders in Okene and Adavi Local Government areas of Kogi State to seek their blessings and support for the Ododo/Oyibo APC ticket.
Hon. Okakanda who also visited the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) in Okene following the complaints of the people of Kogi Central that the Television Station could not relay government activities and therefore kept them in the dark. He queries the NTA staff the reasons for such limitations, this further leads to his pledge to liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure the TV station is brought back to life for the benefit of the people.
The Special Adviser further visited the Radio Kogi 93.5fm in Okene-Eba to have a brief interactive session with the people. He said, no government is perfect, that even though Gov Bello has his own weaknesses, he has displayed uniqueness in governance. He thus, appealed to the entire Kogites to let go of their angers and vote Ododo/Oyibo candidature, assuring that Ododo's administration will be people centred.
In his visits to His Royal Highness, Taaru Ishaq Adinoyi Iteji of Akuta Clan in Okene-Eba/Agassa/Ahache Ward who received Okakanda with excitement eulogized him for his efforts in ensuring Alh. Ododo record a a landslide victory. He expressed that Okakanda is currently like the MTN whose presence is felt everywhere as he's seen in every nooks and crannies of the state campaigning for the APC Candidate.
Taaru Iteji said, "we all know the Kogi APC guber candidate, Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman is committed to bettering the lives of the people of the state."
