The Department of State Services has revealed that it got reports from some state governors relating to diversion of palliatives meant for their citizens.

Consequently, the service upon investigations has arrested some officials of the Nasarawa State Emergency Management Agency and their accomplices in the markets for allegedly diverting palliatives meant for the people of Nasarawa state.
According to the statement released on Tuesday by the DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, the suspects were accused of selling the palliatives in the modern market in Lafia among others.
The service however stated that it had recovered some of the items after an investigation into the matter.
Afunanya noted that similar operations were ongoing in other states of the federation, urging those in authority to live above board to enjoy the cooperations of the people.
