Moved by the need to assist the Police with credible, useful, and reliable information to unravel the misery behind the death of young Nigerian Afro Hip-Hop Artiste, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba known professionally as MohBad, the leadership of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) has called on every good Nigerian at home and in the diaspoa to volunteer directly to the Police, useful facts which will timely unravel the hidden cause of the death of the late music sensation at a young, vibrant and promising age of 27 years.
Noting that Police investigations are not carried out on social media, the National Chairman of the PCRC, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim, expressed his deepest condolences to the fans, the immediate and extended families of the deceased but noted the importance of aiding Police investigation which is the only way of identifying (if any) those whose actions or inactions contributed to the death of Imole as also popular referred to by his fans in Nigeria and beyond.
Born on 8th June 1996, late Mohbad, according to close associates and friends, was subjected to numerous acts of bullying by agents of his former label owner. This traumatic and horrifying experience, according to various sources on social media, led to his untimely death. It is on this note that the leadership of the PCRC is prioritizing the importance of lawful investigations, which will legally bring to book anyone found culpable in what can only be described as wicked, barbaric and highly condemnable acts.
While thanking the Inspector General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun and the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for the actions taken so far, the PCRC demands patience and cooperation from all fans and lovers of late Mohbad across the world pending the outcome of ongoing investigation by the Nigeria Police Force.
