The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habibat Onumoko today made appeal to the electorates in Kogi West to come out in their large number on November 11 to exercise their franchise.

Hajia Habibat also urged the eligible voters, especially those who have not collected their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to hurry up and collect it to enable them exercise their civic right. The Perm. Sec stated this in Kabba-Bunu during the road march organized by the APC support group, G15 in collaboration with DLGs, Treasurers and APC Stakeholders in the area.
The group defied the torrential downpour and marched through
First Bank Junction, Odoafin, Kabba Town Hall to Bata junction and finally headed to the Stadium, rallying support for the governorship candidate of the APC, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo and his running mate, Mr. Joel Oyibo Salifu.

According to the Perm. Sec., APC is stable and unwavering in the state. She appreciated the people for having confidence in Alh. Ahmed Ododo, noting that Alh. Ahmed Ododo if elected as Governor, would consolidate on the achievements recorded by the present administration under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello. She said Alh. Ahmed Ododo is prepared for governance and has plans to continue the good work of Governor Bello on viable economy policies, health, education, agriculture and the security sectors.
She however, admonished the people of the area to be wary of the antics of some politicians that have nothing in stock to offer them, assuring them that all their goodwill messages will get to the APC Governorship candidate, Alh. Ahmed Ododo.
APC Stalwarts from Kogi central who were also part of the road march were Hon. Adams Adabenege, Hon. Ibrahim Ahovi amongst others.
