A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State who is also the Chairman of Babayemi Vanguard Support Group for Ododo, has urged the youths in Kogi state to continue to support the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Usman Ododo in order to secure a better future for the state.
Babayemi Olorunfemi stated this in Lokoja when he was addressing the executives of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi state Chapter. He charged the youths to involve in activities that would promote peace and unity to sustain a stable society.
After a tour of the facilities in the Youth House, he promised to donate 1millionaira to the Council to enable it fix the dilapidated structures in the Youth House.
Reacting on behalf of the executives and stakeholders of the Council, the acting Chairman Comr. Sunday Osiako thanked Mr. Babayemi for the visit.
Comrade Osiako also hinted the APC Chieftain of the plans of the council to inaugurate its independent campaign council for the APC governorship candidate, Usman Ododo, adding that the APC government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello has done much for the youths in the state and they are ready to canvass votes for the party’s candidate to ensure sustainability and consolidation of the achievements recorded so far.
He assured Mr. Babayemi that the money would be judiously used and the youths in the state would continue to strive hard to protect the reputation of the state.
