Kogi at 32: Habibat Onumoko Congratulates Gov. Bello, Kogites
As Kogi state marks its 32nd anniversary today, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habibat Onumoko has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello for his giant strides in the provisions of dividends of democracy to touch the lives of the people of the state.
According to her, Kogi State is made up of people with common destiny and common Vision, noting that the interest of the state is supreme.
Hajia Habibat said Kogi state Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs charged with the responsibility to plan, devise and implement the state policies on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, under the leadership of Hon. Salami Ozigi-Deedat has lived up to expectations.
She opined that Kogi State at the age of 32 has come of age to take its rightful position among the comity of States in Nigeria courtesy of the exceptional achievements and innovative leadership that Governor Yahaya Bello led administration has brought to bear on the leadership of the State.
She congratulated the entire People of Kogi State and enjoined them to pray for the state and the country at large while celebrating the day, positing that Kogi vision can only be achieved through collective efforts.
