Kogi '23: Making Sense Out of Fancy's Unique 'Leg-Over' Dance

By Fancy Media Team

Like a wild fire at the peak of harmattan season, the political networks of Comrade Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege (also known as Fancy), an ally of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) keep spreading across the state.

Of a particular note to the teeming supporters of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is Comrade Fancy's spectacular 'leg over' dance steps at every rally. Why won't we join Comrade Fancy in his 'leg over' dance when we know that the November 11th governorship election is going to be a 'walk over' for Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman?

Stripped of any veil of subjectivity, Fancy Media Team can aver that out of the numerous candidates on the list of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the off-season governorship election in Kogi State, Alhaji Ododo is firmly in custody of all known parameters and indices that work for increased victory quotient of a governorship candidate.

The last legal affirmation and confirmation against  Senator Smart Adeyemi and his crew has given a cavernous view for many who were hitherto in vague to now  infer where explicitly Comrade Fancy draws inspiration from for his popular 'leg over' dance?

It may interest us to know that the already jittery oppositions are aware and just lately, one of them, a known rabble-rouser, Mr Adejoh Audu of the weakened and disillusioned Social Democratic Party (SDP) had tacitly accepted defeat on a national TV before the real election.
Will Comrade Fancy cease to enthrall the good people of Kogi State with his unique 'leg over' dance? Fancy Media Team guessed No! This is because the victory which is in sight will be sealed in November 11th. We believe he will rather hone his dancing skills ahead of January 27th, 2024 when Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman would be graciously taking the mantle of leadership from the most courageous Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

Despite the several failed attempts by the oppositions to discredit the government of Governor Yahaya Bello thereby putting the Confluence State on a perilous scale, good news like a seed planted in a well fertilised soil has never ceased to emanate from the stable of our dear state. It becomes an interesting consequence when some of the double-faced modern day Janus in the midst of the APC got schooled from the various legal institutions they took the party to. More intriguing for the Appellate Court to tell Senator Smart Adeyemi who had previously benefitted from the same system (he now castigates) which produced Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman that his case against APC and its candidate is irredeemably bereft of merit. A vindication of Governor Yahaya Bello and then our victory-coated 'leg over' dance took a novel dimension in ecstasy.

East, West and Central of the Confluence State, excitement of the looming APC's victory permeates. It is very palpable!  Ogbonicha, the home town of the newly minted Minister for Steel Development, Prince Shaibu Audu erupted in joy as prominent stakeholders from the Eastern flank of the state never got weary of pouring encomiums on Governor Yahaya Bello for his detribalised approach to governance. Do you still ask why the 'leg over' dance by Comrade Fancy?

Fancy Media Team was specifically overwhelmed with joy over the recent endorsement of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman by the APC National Chairman and former Governor of Kano State, Dr Umar Ganduje. Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, Ganduje said after careful assessment, has the capacity and statewide acceptance which would make APC's victory very seamless. We will never be tired of the 'leg over' dance not when our candidate has continued to display immutable sound attributes of a leader and maturity in the public fora as against some renown comedy skit makers that some opposition parties are unfortunate to field as their candidates.

Once again, Fancy Media Team want to  appreciate Dr. Mohammed Shaibu Tettes, a distinguished miner, businessman and politician par excellence, a Dekina-born politician who was the original governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) before a successful tribal cum political coup d'etat was staged against him and got supplanted by a supposed leader who calls some sections of Kogi State a common enemy. We also appreciate Chief Abiodun Ojo, a PDP Chieftain and other prominent stakeholders who have  declared unequivocal support for Alhaji Ododo's governorship bid.

Kogi State APC is still in the business of accepting more defectors who would recieve equal treatment with the older members of the party. Join us as we match unto walk over victory with our leg over dance steps.
