FairWin Women Advancement Association (FAWWASS) today received Hon. Zakari Yusuf, a House of Assembly Member representing Okene II in the Kogi State House of Assembly.
Hon. Zakari who was accompanied by Team Dauda Mumuni Apasi, said he was on a courtesy call to commend the group for their outstanding supports to the government of Alh. Yahaya Bello in the state and their contributions to the growth of the party in the area.
Hon. Zakari said the group has not only shown strength in their number, but has also proven that they are battle ready with their permanent voter's card (PVCs) to deliver on the mandate of the candidate of the APC, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Hon. Zakari Yusuf commended the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habibat Onumoko for her wisdom to bring people together from all parts of the state, to front a progressive cause.
In her response, the president of the group, Hon. Bilikisu Onumoko said women are indispensable to attain a sustainable social and economic development.
She said the government of the day has not failed in its promise to Kogi women. She reiterated the group's determination to continue to support the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello, adding that the group is waxing stronger because of the enormous supports and encouragements they are getting from Hajia Habibat Onumoko, who is the founder of the group.
Hon. Bilikisu finally explained that the victory of the party's candidate is obvious, revealing that FAWWASS is mapping out strategies and modalities to take the gospel of the party to every nooks and crannies of the state.
