The Eyire Descendants across Kogi State paid visit to the leadership of His Excellency Gov Yahaya Bello through Accountant general of the state Alh Jibril Momoh in his hometown Okene yesterday 26th of August,2023. The leadership of Ozi Idu Eyire across sub clans and title were represented and discussion of the good leadership of His Excellency were pinned, and stakeholders with Hon. Jibril highlights the essence of such gathering and the positive result it will yield.
The president of the clan, Alh. Abdulganiyu while addressing His Excellency Gov. Bello applauds him for the leadership role he has been playing in Kogi politics and the examination he subjected his subjects to despite he knows the position is one and for one person. That alone has showned that HE can be represented by all his subjects that he has trained politically. He assured Alh. Jibril that without calling the elders and youths of Eyire for a meeting today they have been working to secure Kogi agenda and Ebira nation victory. HE have placed you in a key position and that alone they are yet to say thank you let alone of the great task before the good people of Eyire clan as Ododo is our grandson and of course we are proud that he was well trained from home before meeting HE and you our brother Accountant general. So in our collective responsibility we are preaching and canvassing within and outside Kogi state the essence of a tremendous victory for the November poll.
While Alh. Jibril is responding,He thanks the elders and youths of Eyire Descendants for believing in the administration of his Excellency Gov Yahaya Bello for he is a leader yet unmatched. As one of the aspirants which you all supported and the election crown my brother and immediate son with victory and one of us from Okene II Constituency as well. I am with joy and happiness. Ododo listen to my words of advice since the inception of this administration and he will never go against my words for positive results. The president have said all that I wanted to throw before you all and I am certain we shall become victorious. No one is hundred percent correct and as a leader I have stepped on some toes unknowingly to me but i seek for your pardon and forgiveness and seek your votes in one polling box come November 11th,2023. He said.
