Perm. Sec. Habibat Onumoko admonishes returnee muslim pilgrims to show positive values in the society, commends them for good conduct throughout the pilgrimage exercise.

Returnee muslim pilgrims have been charged to always show love and exhibits selfless service for the progress of the society and the State at large.

Addressing members of FairWin Women Advancement Association (FAWWASS) who just returned from Saudi Arabia, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habibat Onumoko advised the returnee pilgrims to always exhibits the lessons learnt during the spiritual exercise in their day to day activities.

She said she believes God has answered all the prayers offered for peace and progress of the state.

She expressed joy that the pilgrimage exercise had impacted the pilgrims positively and brought about spiritual rejuvenations.

She hailed the Kogi State Hajj Commission for conducting a hitch-free pilgrimage journey to Saudi Arabia.

While commending the returnee pilgrims for good conduct throughout the journey and for avoiding all acts that could tarnish the image of the state, Hajia Habibat also thanked the Kogi State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello for his colossal supports towards the success of the pilgrimage.

Prayers were offered for the State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello, the APC Candidate for November 11 Governorship election, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo and for the overall Kogi State.
