2nd Anniversary: we have committed our 2 years in office to community development and youth engagements- Comr. Sunday Osiako, Kogi State NYCN Acting Chair

The Leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in Kogi State has congratulated Kogi state youths at home and in the diaspora, as the Council celebrates two years in office of the present leadership of the Council.

Addressing newsmen on Sunday in Lokoja, after a session with stakeholders, the Acting chairman, Comr. Sunday Osiako, NYCN commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his laudable achievements in infrastructural development, youth and women empowerments and the relative peace witnessed in the state.

The Youth Council described Governor Yahaya Bello as a youth-friendly governor and commended the Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development, for always protecting the interests of the youths of the state.

He said, "we're grateful to God who Has taken us this far".

"We've always believe in the New Direction Developmental Agenda from Day One because of its interest in the development of the youths".

"The government of the day has placed us well. We've been accorded our rightful place in the scheme of things in the State".

Comr. Sunday Osiako on behalf of the State and Local Government stakeholders of the Council hail the the national executives of the Council for standing firm and fronting the cause of youths emancipation.

The Council reiterated that it will continue to give maximum support to the present administration in the state in every way possible, admonishing the youths in the state not not take laws into their hands but to always channel all grievances to the NYCN Secretariat for the overall development of the state.
