KCPV swears In Pioneer Executives, seeks EPA's mentorship.
Kogi Central Progressives Vanguard (KCPV) has inaugurated her first executives to pilot the activities of the group for the period of a 4 year tenure.
The Cordinator was sworn in and presented letter of appointment by the President-General of Ebira People's Association (EPA), Dr. Godwin Oyibo.
Dr. Godwin Oyibo charged the new executives who are drawn from all walks of life, to use their wealth of experience to bring development to Ebiraland.
He urged KCPV to always key into the functions and activities of EPA. He said the 2023 Census exercise calls for concern of all. Dr. Godwin Oyibo used the opportunity to call on politcicians and traditional leaders in Kogi Central to expedite actions that would guarantee the success of the exercis in the area.
In his acceptance speech, the Coordinator, Comr. Augustine Innocent Onotu explained that the aim and objectives of the group is to foster positive social change, advocate for good governance, quality and credible representation at national and state level, promote community development programmes and to organize periodic lectures, seminars and symposiums through collaborations with groups and stakeholders in Ebiraland.
The group further pledged unalloyed loyalty to EPA and seeks mentorship and nuturing under the tutulege of the apex body.
Other members sworn in as executive of KCPV are; Rosemary Onubaiye as Woman Leader, Ibrahim Ochu Adeiza as the Assistant Coordinator, Tayo Onimisi Omodaiye as the Secretary of the group, Alabi Esemeje Victoria as Treasurer and Sumonu Anthony Adeiza as the Publicity Secretary.
The legal team include Barr. B.O Obenege, Barr. B.H Onuwoji and Barr. D.D Osiyi Jemitola.
Present at the inauguration and swearing in ceremony were members of KCPV, Abdulkareem Musa Onuja and Iliyasu Shaibu, an elder stateman and educationist, Mr. Z.O. Aniki, former EYC President and current Secretary-General of EPA Comr. Baba Razak, member of the task force on Census, Comr. Abdullahi Haddi, Chairman of Ihima Welfare Association (IWA), Comr. Obaro Yakubu Galadima,
Others were the representatives of groups and association, student bodies across the local government areas in Ebiraland.
