The agitators are angered by the emergence of Ododo Ahmed Usman as the candidate of the viable platform - All Progressives Congress, (APC). They have nightmares over the forthcoming Governorship election of November 11, 2023.
These agitators are bigots and ignorants, protesting, ranting and wailing on social media not minding the possibility to realize the tribal agenda.
"No man rules forever on the throne of time" is an African proverb that is applicable in this scenario. The other tribal blocs in Kogi State held their fate and calm when late Prince Abubakar Audu, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and Captain Idris Ichala Wada were at the helm. His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello leads the wisdom that distributes even development strides across the state to the envy of the agitators as they woke from slumber.
Some proponents of "Power Rotation" want power to shift to other zones of Kogi State from Governor Yahaya Bello forgetting that "POWER" is not given. They are whipping the sentiments that are highly incomprehensive. Ododo Ahmed Usman is a cousin of Governor Yahaya Bello; they hail from same ward, and local government area and among many other calumnious sentiments.
Recall that after Alhaji Ibrahim Idris's 9years in office, he superintend over the emergence of another Igala brother - Captain Idris Ichala Wada as Successor.
Ododo Ahmed Usman won APC primary election to emerged as candidate on free, fair & credible contest. All the 17 aspirants except two of accepted the outcome. Only one candidate is expected whichever way the dice was casted. The disgruntled aspirants challenge the legitimacy of the outcome, and one withdrew his litigation.
All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket is undoubtedly the most contested because it is seemingly the sure bet of winning at the poll comes November 11, 2023. Other parties are mere platforms to vent anger and grievance.
Upon emergence, Ododo Ahmed Usman in the company of eminent sons and daughters of Kogi State commence consultation tour to critical political stakeholders across party affiliations with a message of "Kogi Agenda".
The anti - Kogi agitators are suffering from what renowned sociologists will call 'status anxiety and anger'.
Patriots in every civil societies will acknowledged weakness in contest. Tribal bigotries never win election but capacity and ability to serve and deliver to the vast majority regardless of the background of who seek to serves.
The bigots are busy deceiving unsuspecting tribalists at believing it's a tribal contest.
Ododo Ahmed Usman & Team by the consultation routine portrays Kogi Agenda while the antagonists are selfish, interested in power on sympathy clamour. The tribal rulers, who are natural representative of the people endorsed the candidacy of Ododo Ahmed Usman across the state.
Political pundits and analysts commend the bold and decisive strides of the consultation tour of Ododo Ahmed Usman and Team. The assemblage of Men and Women on the consultation train is a nightmare for the antagonists and political opponents.
